Of Corfu, NY, October 15, 2022. Beloved wife of James E. Backlas; dearest mother of Michael J. (Lara) Backlas, Leia A. (Angelo) DeAngelis and Christine M. (Karl) Sellick; grandmother of Tyler (Adrienne) Backlas, Bobbie Jo (Jared) Borglum, Jenel Johnson, Autumn (Cliff) Struble, Andrew (Filipe) Sellick, Rita (Dustan) Weidman, Joseph (Alyssa) Backlas, Patrick Backlas (Jenna Muller) and Paul Backlas; great-grandmother of Collins, Emery, Colton, Reid, Kinsley, Anderson and Robbie; daughter of the late Ralph E. "Red" and Martina M. (Gattie) Collins; survived by four sisters and two brothers and predeceased by two brothers; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation.
