REYNOLDS - Robert Bruce "Cowboy Bob"
Of Blasdell, NY, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2022; beloved husband of 66 years to the late Carolyn Jean (Montgomery) Reynolds; beloved son of the late Mary Stoffel and Howard Reynolds; devoted father of Robert Jr. (Diane) Reynolds, Daniel H. Reynolds, Thomas (Donna) Reynolds; grandfather of Jennifer (Mike) Ward, Holly (Mijo) Reynolds, Catherine (Scott) Suda, Beverly Reynolds, Valerie (Kyle) Reynolds, and Lillian Reynolds; great-grandfather of Ryan and Jake; dearest brother of the late Richard Reynolds and the late Phyllis Argentieri; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. From his humble start in Hornell, NY, that led to his Korean War service, "Cowboy Bob" as he was known to so many people, lived a long life of 91 plus years. Bob worked 30 years at Ford Buffalo Stamping Plant, and retired to reopen Reynolds Tool and Die Corp, which became the "Go To Machine Shop" in Eden right up to his passing. The legacy of Bob grew by being an avid reader who was not afraid to share his beliefs with others. He truly enjoyed mentoring family and friends on hiking and nature, starting in 1962 he reinforced this by those yearly climbs up Mt. Washington in NH. He raced motocross, loved riding motorcycles and snowmobiles right to the end, and was an avid skier throughout the USA into his 90's, and of course the occasional "Tarzan Call" !! Bob was a proud union member of UAW Local #897 since 1952 and truly enjoyed living life his way. Private family services will be held in Hornell, NY. Arrangements by: ERIE COUNTY CREMATION SERVICE, (716) 824-6435. Please share your condolences at: www.eriecountycremationservice.com
