Obituary of Terry Stephan

STEPHAN - Terry
Of West Valley, at age 72, passed away June 17, 2022.  He was born December 26, 1949 to the late Richard Stephan and Norma (nee Gleason) Stephan Schichtel. He attended Hamburg High School, retired from Nason’s Delivery and wrote stories for the Springville Journal and the Arcade Herald in the past. He was a good mechanic and “inventor” who could fix just about anything. He loved his cats. He was a good friend to many, had a good sense of humor, loved to travel and was an all around good guy. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Dan Stephan. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hornung Stephan; his children, John (Nina Oberlin) Stephan of Massachusetts and Aaron (Lauren Fensterstock) of Maine; grandchildren, Paige Stephan, Tate Stephan and Lexi Stavros; brother, Randy Stephan of Springville; stepsiblings, Donna McVaugh of East Otto, Anne Theil of Tennessee, James Schichtel of Texas, Paul Schichtel, Phil Schichtel, Greg Schichtel and Dave Schichtel; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2022 at the Sprague Brook Park Casino building from 4-7 PM. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Feed America or a charity of the donor’s choice.
