I worked with Debbie at Abbott Labs for about 4 years or so. Being as I was new and there was quite the age gap between me and most of the women on our shift... A lot of the women didn't like me and weren't even interested in the chance to get to know me. Debbie was different, her and I just clicked almost immediately...as if we had known each other for years. We took all our breaks together everyday and they were filled with so much laughter. In that four years getting to know Debbie... I learned that she was a wonderful mother and a great wife...she talked about her husband and her kids daily . I know she loved them very much and was proud to be a mom and a wife. I'll always remember Debbie and how she took the time to get to know me and gave me her friendship. A memory I will cherish forever. Thank you Debbie for that friendship and for making the everyday grind of those 12-hour days much more pleasant. I'm a better person for having known you. My heartfelt condolences to the family on the passing of such a truly wonderful person. God bless.
